Ya gotta love a dead guy who is still trying to get a date. But having a positive outlook is the way to go if one wants to get ahead -- or even have a pleasant un-life-- in the world of the undead, indeed as it is in any variety of existence.
Meet Bob, one of the zombies in the city just trying to get by, have a nice existence, and date what passes these days for a pretty girl. our protagonist. He manages to score a date with his crush, makes a reservation at an upscale restaurant, and even hires a limo! And in his excitement and rush to get ready for his date, his arm falls off, (apparently unstable body parts being a zombie occupational hazard) but it didn't faze him, he simply staples it back on and continues getting dressed. What a guy!
A funny, funny book, and hit me squarely in my humorous zone. Just delightful - as only a zombie can be.
Tongue in cheek humor which hits the spot. Kachunk is the sound of Bob stapeling his body parts. If you want a chuckle for Valentine's Day, this is the book for you. Great use of adjectives to create many sweet yet funny zombie moments. Jaime Johnesee keep them coming, please!

What a cute story this is! You've got to start with Bob the Zombie! You will love him! I read this and the two before in one sitting. Go check out Bob. You will definitely smile!
If you haven’t read any of the Bob the Zombie stories you really should. These quick 34 pages are what you need if you want to smile and laugh. As always Jaime has a great way of combing humor, quirkiness, and soul into her stories. I read this on a lunch break and was like damn..Just 34 pages! Great story with a nice twist. I want to hang out with Bob! Maybe there will be a Bob Hanukah or Easter or Christmas..Or Arbor day…hey hit them all I will read them.
Bob the Zombie has the biggest heart ever, you will fall in love with this story about his date with Lilly on Valentines night. I absolutely adore him, and you will too. Thank you Jaime for telling his stories. Cannot wait for Bob’s next adventure.
The simple fact that Jaime can write an entire book based around one seemingly insignificant moment in the "lives" of these two characters while simultaneously moving the overall Bob story forward shows the love she has for this character and her skill.
The love shown between the two main zombies is sweet, and almost sophomoric. And that is why we love Bob like we do.
Keep these coming madame author, and I'll keep buying.
